The Virginia Catholic Conference operates an e-mail Advocacy Network by which Virginia residents can contact those who represent them in Congress and in the General Assembly regarding proposed legislation. You do not have to be a registered voter to participate in the network, whose features include:
- Free membership
- A guarantee that members’ contact information will not be shared with others
- Regular alerts on Respect Life, Social Justice, and Education issues considered by state and federal lawmakers
- Pre-drafted messages that you can send “as is” or modified to suit your own style, to your elected representatives
- Periodic “news flashes” to update members on the progress and outcomes of advocacy items.
