The Brotherhood of Catholic Men

The Brotherhood of Catholic Men was formed in 2018 by a small group of men, from Holy Name of Mary parish, who were trying to respond to a call to help themselves and other men step up as leaders in the practice and sharing of our faith within our families, parish, and community. There were many influences behind the development of this Ministry, including our shared experience with Exodus 90, talks at the Power and Purpose Conference that year, and the book, No Man Left Behind, by Morley, Delk, and Clemmer.

We meet monthly for one hour with two options for flexibility in attendance: 1st Sat of each month 8am-9am. (Rosary, Mass, and Communal Anointing follow). 2nd Wed of each month 7:30pm-8:30pm (immediately following Reconciliation, Adoration, and the Mass). Our meeting days and times were selected to allow for participation in the Mass and sacraments available on those dates.

Sometimes our meetings include small group discussion on topics to be presented. Periodically they include works of service, or other activities to engage our hearts and hands as well.  For more information contact us at: (email: [email protected]).

Visit our website at tbocm.com, where you can request to be placed on our news/events list. See information on upcoming or past events and activities or check out the story behind the unique Rosary for men that we developed, known as St. Dominic’s Dagger™. We are grateful though for the many women who now use and love this design as well.

MISSION STATEMENT

We are a group of Catholic Men inspired to help ourselves, and other men, grow in virtue and freedom by becoming less concerned with ourselves and more eager to place our lives at the service of God & neighbor. We do this:

1. Through Prayer – Especially the Rosary

2. The Sacraments

3. Living the Beatitudes

4. Doing Spiritual & Corporal works of Mercy

5. Putting on the “Armor of God”

Nemo Remanebit” – Our Latin motto means “No Man Left Behind”

All men are invited to participate in our activities, regardless of faith or beliefs.  We do not compromise though in the practice or discussion of our Catholic faith.

If you’re a Man you’re a Member!

No dues, fees or registration required. No pre-reading or homework to do either. Just show up and participate!

HEADS…..HEARTS….. HANDS

Sometimes we review and discuss a short video, sometimes we do something for our community, and sometimes we build things! Each month is different on purpose. There are many ways to practice and grow in our faith together.

Putting on the Full Armor of God – Eph 6:13

Inspired by Ephesians 6, we strive to help every man be fully armored up for the battles we face in our daily lives. We are men helping men grow stronger in faith.
