First Reconciliation

Children and parents take part in a preparation program before the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.   Formal preparation for these sacraments is outside of weekly formation class, usually culminating in reception of the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the winter and First Eucharist in Spring of their second grade school year.   Children need to be enrolled in the parish Faith Formation program, have faith formation as part of their homeschool program, or have attended Catholic School their 1st grade year.  All children need to be enrolled in the parish Faith Formation program during their 2nd grade year.  Children starting after 1st grade may need special instruction.  A recent copy of the candidate’s baptismal certificate is required.  Contact the Faith Formation Office for more information.
